Traditional South Indian classical violin training
Carnatic music is one of the oldest and richest musical traditions in the world. The violin, introduced to Carnatic music in the 18th century, has become one of its most prominent melodic instruments. Our Carnatic violin program follows the traditional pedagogical approach while incorporating modern teaching methods.
Students will learn swaras (notes), ragas (melodic frameworks), talas (rhythmic cycles), and progress through structured lessons that build a strong foundation for both solo performance and accompaniment.
